Supported formats and limits
Support depends on the actual file structure, selected metadata and browser.
Supported constrained paths
Still JPEG, PNG and WebP have tested metadata-only paths.
HEIC and AVIF — partial, layout dependent
Only constrained direct single-image 8-bit SDR HEIC/AVIF layouts and supported EXIF/XMP edits are handled. This is partial format support, not compatibility with every phone photo or export. Browser decoding and preview vary; display removal is unsupported.
Partial and not checked
JPEG IPTC/APP13 and comments, unknown XMP, PNG compressed text values and proprietary records may remain unchecked. HEIC/AVIF preview depends on browser decoding. Read each receipt; credential signatures and image origin are not verified.
Unsupported and blocked
Animation, JPEG MPF and unsupported encodings, PNG compressed XMP, HEIC/AVIF grids, sequences, HDR and high bit depth, unsafe or malformed structures are blocked. HEIC/AVIF display removal is unsupported. Visible and invisible watermarks are outside scope.
Limits and safe choices
Up to 5 images, 10 MB each, 50 MB combined and 30 MP each; metadata safety budgets also apply. Unsupported requests are blocked without a new copy. Originals stay unchanged. No image upload or silent conversion is offered.
