Creator names, attribution and rights notices are a separate choice.
Credit carried in the file
Copyright and attribution fields can name a creator or rights holder. They may appear in EXIF, XMP or supported image text fields. This metadata category is separate from personal-information cleanup.
Kept by default
Copyright removal is off by default in Auto and Expert. Keep it off when you want supported creator credit preserved. If you explicitly enable it in Expert, the tool removes only supported fields and creates a separate copy; the receipt explains the result.
What this cannot decide
A rights field is information stored in a file, not a decision about who owns or may use the image. Removing a notice does not change rights or permissions. Unsupported records are not checked or prevent the selected change; no findings is limited to the checked fields.
