What is the difference between metadata and a watermark?
Information in a file container is different from information embedded in the picture.
Two different places
Metadata is information carried alongside image content. A visible or invisible watermark can be part of the image content itself. Removing selected metadata does not remove that watermark.
The scope of this tool
This utility edits tested metadata structures. It does not promise to erase watermarks, alter visual content, or hide how a picture was created.
