What are Content Credentials and C2PA?

Understand the history information that can be stored with an image.

History information inside a file

Content Credentials can describe an image’s history, such as software used or who signed the record. This app can find supported credential data stored inside a file. It does not check who signed that data, whether it has been altered, or whether the claims are true.

What removal changes

Auto selects supported embedded credential removal. The original stays unchanged, and the tool creates a separate copy. Keeping credential data can also keep names or other personal details inside it. Other copies or linked records may still exist after removal.

What the result does not tell you

Finding credential data is not proof of how a picture was made. Finding none is not proof that the image is human-made. Removing data does not control another website’s labels. This app does not automatically open links found inside metadata.
